Safety precautions when using a hammer in sheet metal processing
Classification:Company News Release time:2023-05-26 427
The sheet metal welding hammer is one of the commonly used tools in sheet metal processing. Sheet metal workers not only know how to use the hammer, but also should be able to maintain it. When the hammer handle is installed into the hammer head, the centerline of the hammer handle should be perpendicular to the centerline of the hammer head, and the diameter direction of the larger ellipse of the handle should be consistent with the centerline of the hammer head. In order to ensure that the installation of the hammer head is not loose and prevent the hammer head from falling off, it is necessary to use a metal or wooden wedge to drive it into the hammer handle for fastening. The hammer handle should be flat, and the hammer surface should be smooth and flat. The handle should not be used as a pry bar or to clean iron filings and sand particles.
Safety precautions when using a hammer:
1. It is not suitable for hand hammers with loose, detached, or cracked handle wedges to prevent accidents caused by the hammer head flying out.
2. Avoid oil on the handle and surface of the hammer. When your hands are sweating, wipe them clean before holding the hammer.
Before striking with the hammer, it is necessary to pay attention to the surroundings to avoid accidents.
